Fancy fish fingers for tea? Catch them at the aquarium
They don't flap their fins or blow any bubbles. But the 'fish finger' tiddlers sitting at the bottom of a London aquarium have been mistaken for the real thing, nonetheless.
The models look like breadcrumb-coated fish fingers with tails and eyes attached, and were added to the waters to teach children about marine life.
They were inspired by a survey at the London Sea Life Aquarium which found that one in ten youngsters think a fish finger is a real fish. 'We decided to put the public to the test,' said Toby Forer, general manager of the aquarium.

Visitor Brian Payne, 28, took his five-yearold daughter to the attraction last week. He said: 'She thought they were real to start with but once I explained I think she understood they weren't actually real.
'But they are quite convincing and I can see how little kids might be slightly confused by it.'
this is interesting, cos of late, there are some children in some part of the world who had never seen real chicken or cow before think that chicken & beef come in packets from the supermarkets cos they'have not been expose to the real thing except for what's on their dinner plates.
